SUMMARY:Chicago Farmer & the Fieldnotes : Homeaid Tour - Appleton Beer Factory
DESCRIPTION:6:30 – Doors\n7:00 – TBA\n8:30 – Chicago Farmer & the Fieldnotes \n$25 – Advance / $32 – Day of \nChicago Farmer & The Filed Notes \nWhen taking on the moniker Chicago Farmer\, singer-songwriter Cody Diekhoff aimed to not only showcase the dichotomy of his life and travels —growing up in the tiny Illinois farm community of Delavan\, and calling “TheWindy City” home for several years — he also wanted to honor his past\nthrough his uplifting\, introspective melodies. \n“My hometown kind of goes with me wherever I go\,” Diekhoff says. “All the things I learned from my grandparents\, I take that with me wherever I go.\nThey’re always in my heart and in my mind.” \nWhich is why Diekhoff’s latest offering\, Homeaid\, puts a spotlight on the old soul nature and deep ethos of compassion and camaraderie that resides at the core of his being. A blend of Americana\, indie-folk and roots-rock\, the album swirls effortlessly into the ether of a modern world facing uncertain times. \n“Home is where the art is/Home is where there’s song\,” Diekhoff erupts on the title track. “It hits you the hardest when you’re away from home too long.” \n“If anything\, I want my music to be genuine and authentic\,” Diekhoff says. “My grandfather was a storyteller. He was a veteran\, a family farmer\, and he just collected stories. Hearing him tell all these stories definitely transferred over into my storytelling that’s in my music.” \nMeandering through Homeaid\, there are odes to teenage transgressions in the name of irresponsible enlightenment (“Tina Hart’s Mustang”)\, odes to the splendor and tragedy of growing older (“Sorry You’re Sick”)\, odes to nothing and everything (“Mattress”) — the cultivation of which being Diekhoff and his curious life\, one remaining in perpetual motion\, onstage and on the road. \n“People come to watch it run when the sun went down/To raise a glass as it passed and hoist up the crown\,” Diekhoff howls into the heavens. “Yeah\, Tina Hart’s Mustang was the fastest car around.” \nWith Homeaid\, it’s this true sense of self that’s felt when it comes to those cherished faces and vivid moments from your own past. Images\, sounds\, and feelings conjured with ease\, usually while cruising down some backcountry road\, windows rolled down\, the sunshine of another bountiful day slowly falling below the horizon\, the unknown night quickly emerging — this crossroads of sheer gratitude and endless inspiration. \n“This is who I am now\,” Diekhoff says of Chicago Farmer. “I represent both of these places\, and I take a lot of pride in ownership of the name now.”

SUMMARY:The Filthy Heathens with Free Dirt - Appleton Beer Factory
DESCRIPTION:7:30 – Doors\n8:00 – Free Dirt\n9:00 – The Filthy Heathens \nAdvance – $15  / Day of – $20 \nThe Filthy Heathens \nThe Filthy Heathens came together during the chaos of the pandemic\, sparked by the chemistry between Bronson Hetzer\, Ryan Palcic\, and “Captain” Craig Bishop. Things got serious fast with the addition of guitarists Cody Doench and Dawson Stepp. With five members locked in\, the band took off. \nFrom Southern grit to alt-edge\, classic country to hard rock\, their sound defies easy classification. It’s rich\, raw\, and rooted in something deeper than genre. This is music you can’t quite label — and that’s the point. Inspired by legends like Skynyrd and Waylon\, with a nod to modern acts like Blackberry Smoke and The Steel Woods\, their songs are raw\, road-tested\, and built to be felt.\nKnown for high-octane live shows and a growing regional fanbase\, The Filthy Heathens are hitting stages across the country with a packed tour schedule and festival season. One gig at a time\, they’re building something real — and it’s catching on. Live\, The Filthy Heathens go full-throttle — and so do their crowds. They love to put on a show and bring a room to life. Every performance is a shot of energy designed to pull you away from your phone — and everything else going on in the world. Their debut EP Etheridge dropped May 2025\, led by the singles “Tupelo Sun” and “Devils Like Me.” The fuse is lit — and they’re just getting started. \nFree Dirt \nMadison band Free Dirt writes sturdy\, dependable\, sometimes funny songs that ring familiar while also feeling a bit tough to pin down. On stage they take those finely crafted tunes\, pull them apart and use the bricks to fashion a wobbling Tower of Babel. Come and see how close they get to heaven before it all tumbles back down to earth!
